Not What you would expect Mar 07, 2010 I was expecting a game that would include routines for practice, but all I got was a half-way, new to yoga, introduction. no routines for practice at different levels as i would have liked. The routines it does include are so slow and do not provide any verbal directions to guide you as to what goes-on on the screen or how to use of position the balance board or wii remote in your hand or feet. terrible! The Wii Fit has better instruction and feedback than this. I like the graphics and learning about the philosophy, that was the only plus.

A little disappointing Feb 16, 2010 I have been pretty disappointed with this product. Compared to the original Wii Fit or Biggest Loser Wii workouts this seems cheaply made. When demonstrating the yoga poses they do not show the trainer from different angles i.e. the side and back as well as the front. Doing this is immensely helpful for a beginner. Also, the routines they have include poses that are not demonstrated as a single exercise. So if I don't know how to do a pose like Little Boat, I can't go to the single exercises to see how to do it right. I just have to follow the trainer while viewing him/her from the front, which is little help for Little Boat. As I said before, cheaply made and disappointing.

Wii Yoga stinks Feb 16, 2010 Don't waste your money on this. I read the reviews before I bought and they seemed mostly positive at that time. Since then, I see there are many that agree with me. The program makes no sense, is poorly organized, and unless you are already practiced in Yoga (I am not), I don't think it will help you at all. I am going to trade it in. What a waste of money!

Such a disappointment Feb 16, 2010 I was so excited to get this game. I had taken an intro to yoga class, and thought this game would be great for practicing what I'd learned. It was horrible. Like some others have said, the story mode just shows you around a temple. You don't really practice the poses. If you go into training mode you can do the poses, but there is no instruction for it if you don't watch the screen. If you are watching the screen you can't do the poses. Just a bad game in general. I really was disappointed.

Useless as a practice aid, might help you learn how to do some postures Feb 15, 2010 If you don't know anything about doing the postures and you don't want to try to learn from a good book, you might benefit from the demonstrations. There are no prompts for moving into or out of the postures in routine mode. Worthless as an aid to practice because you have to be looking at the screen to get the feedback. Most poses require you to look in a particular direction or go within and not gaze at anything. It does have a nice, succinct discussion of the philosophy, but most people will buy it for the practice sessions. They will be disappointed.
